'Today's THV at 5': H1N1 and Tamiflu

It's been hard to find the new H1N1 vaccine for children; now if they get the flu it might be hard to find a drug used to treat it.
There is a national shortage of liquid Tamiflu.
The liquid form is for small children and anyone else who has trouble swallowing pills.
To ease the shortage the government has released a quarter million doses of the anti-viral from the national stockpile.
Health officials are also encouraging pharmacists to open Tamiflu capsules and use the powder inside to create the liquid form.
Doctors constantly remind patients to wash your hands frequently and there's a good reason. Flu viruses can get on almost anything we touch like computers or doorknobs and they can live on most surfaces for up to 8 hours.
