Ivano-Frankivsk region gets 18,500 packs of Tamilu

Ivano-Frankivsk region received 18, 500 packs of Tamiflu, a medicine used to treat or prevent flu, on Monday, November 2, according to Roman Ostiak, the main doctor of the regional emergency epidemiological commission. 
He said at a commission meeting on Monday that 4, 500 packs of Tamiflu, which were brought early on Monday, had already been distributed to the main doctors of hospitals.
Ostiak said that 10% of the medicine is destined to prevent the spread of diseases among medical employees, 20% had been distributed to treat patients at regional medical institutions, and that 70% had been sent to district and city hospitals.
He also said that another 14, 000 packs of Tamiflu had been delivered to the region late on Monday.
