Yushchenko asking Spain for medical equipment for swine flu treatment in Ukraine

Ukrainian President Viktor Yuschenko has asked Spain to provide medical equipment to help treat people infected with A/H1N1 virus in Ukraine
The Ukrainian president said this at a meeting with Spanish Foreign Minister Miguel Angel Moratinos, which is on an official visit in Ukraine, Yuschenko's press service reported.
President Yuschenko repeated his invitation to King Juan Carlos I of Spain to visit Ukraine. In turn Moratinos conveyed greetings of the King of Spain Juan Carlos I to the Ukrainian president.
The Ukrainian president and the Spanish foreign minister discussed the preparations to the Ukraine-EU summit in December. The parties exchanged opinions on the state and the prospects of the talks on the Association Agreement with the European Union. "One of the key issues on the agenda of the relations between Ukraine and the European Union is liberalization of the visa requirements," Yuschenko stressed.
Yuschenko also said that Ukraine is interested in the growth of Spanish investments inflow to Ukraine and noted that the state will support first of all the investment projects in the frames of Ukraine's preparations for hosting the Euro 2012 finals.
