Ukraine has 22 confirmed cases of swine flu

Twenty-two cases of the A(H1N1) influenza, commonly known as swine flu, have been officially confirmed in Ukraine, First Deputy Health Minister Vasyl Lazoryshynets said at a briefing on Monday.
He said that according to the recommendations of the World Health Organization, if even one swine flu case is detected in any region, medical treatment would be conducted in the whole region in line with the prodecure on fighting this disease.
He said that a respective treatment procedure had been drafted by the Health Ministry and sent to the regions.
